Time registration and Check In/Out (CIaO)
Employees register their start and end times through the app, at the office or on location.
GPS validation checks whether the registration matches the correct workplace. Outside the permitted zone? A warning or blocking rule is triggered, depending on your configuration. Unplanned tasks are registered with mandatory justification. Fully compliant with CIaO 2027.
Planning and schedules
Shifts, work schedules and task assignments are sent directly from your planning system to the employee app. The next task is ready on the home screen. Confirmations and deviations are visible to the manager in real time.
Leave requests
Employees request leave through the app: select the leave type, enter the dates and optionally add a reason. The manager approves or rejects the request. Leave balances are updated automatically. MyVIRO supports Belgian leave types including annual leave, compensatory leave, ADV, KB213, public holidays and more. Employees receive a notification when their request is approved or rejected.
Sickness reporting
Employees report sickness through the app, enter the start and end date and upload a photo of their medical certificate. HR receives the notification immediately. Half-day sickness can also be registered. The medical certificate can be added later if required. All sickness reports remain traceable and are ready for processing by the payroll service provider.
Mobility and expenses
Employees register journeys, automatically link them to the relevant project using GPS data and submit expenses by uploading a photo of the receipt. The approval flow is handled digitally by the manager. Everything is then ready for processing as part of payroll.
Documents and certificates
VCA certificates, driving licences, medical certificates and employment contracts are stored per employee in the app. Automatic notifications can be triggered before expiry dates. Mandatory documents can also block Check In/Out. Without a valid certificate, an employee can be prevented from checking in at a workplace where that certificate is required. Documents can be signed digitally through the app.
